Ego in Love

When two hearts collide,

Love is supposed to grow.

But instead, ego steps in,

And the love begins to die.

With egos in the way,

True love can never grow.

It's overshadowed by pride,

And feelings start to fade.

Unless these egos disappear,

The love will slowly fade away.

And we can't see what's really there,

Only our own version of reality.

Ego stands in the way of love,

Interrupting its flow

With its need for control,

Forgetting what is important.

Love is patient and kind,

always giving more than it takes,

But ego gets in the way,

Ruining what could be.

Interference of ego in love is like a storm

It can ruin everything in an instant

And leave you feeling battered and bruised

It's destructive and can make you feel small

But if you can weather the storm

And let go of your ego

You'll find that love will be so much stronger

Our egos can sometimes get in the way

But if we really want our love to grow

We need to learn to let go

Mysterious moon
