POETRY_LOVESCRIBBLES

Welcome to my site. Here I write poems about love and feelings. Love is a strong emotion that everyone feels from time to time. It can be a positive or negative feeling, but it always has an impact on the lives of those who experience it. Love can make people feel happy, excited, and hopeful for the future. On the other hand love can also cause someone to feel angry, frustrated, and resentful.

The human race is one of devastation. One day we're here and the next we're gone. We leave behind a trail of destruction,

It's like a cancer that just keeps spreading. In our wake a world that's barely holding on. Our greed and selfishness knows no bounds, As we plunder nature's riches without a thought. In our haste to satisfy our own desires, We've forgotten the harm we're doing to ourselves. It's time we woke up before it's too late, And started living in harmony with nature.

We always seem to find a new way to ruin things.

From blowing up the planet,

To making the air un-breathable,

We are a race that is determined to self-destruct.

Is there any hope for us?

Or are we doomed to forever repeat our mistakes?

The earth is pillaged, raped and left for dead

We destroyed what we had and took without care

Only the wealthy got richer as the planet starved

Dust storm, floods, and droughts - nature's warning

We didn't listen and now everything is gone

We are all unique,

the snowflakes in our DNA,

like a fingerprint, no two are the same.

A strand of hair, a slice of skin,

all hold the story of who we are.

Our ancestors and our future,

depicted in the twisting helix.

The building blocks of life,

passed down from generation to generation.

DNA is our destiny,

written in our genes.

DNA is the blueprint of life,

Carrying our genetic code within.

A spiral ladder, it winds and coils

Successive rungs holding the secrets

Of who we are, where we came from,

What might be our future.

We are all made of starstuff,

Comprised of bits of everything

In the universe that ever was.

Soaring through time and space,

Our DNA is a map of all we are.

The last drop of water

flows through the cracks in the earth

and down to the depths of hell.

It is the life-blood of the land,

the sustenance of the earth,

the hope for all life.

It is also the harbinger of death.

It is a reminder that life is finite,

and that everything must come to an end.

Water is the lifeblood of our earth.

She nurtures and sustains all life,

From the tiniest blade of grass

To the largest tree in the forest.

Her gentle rains fall on the land,

Washing away the dust and grime,

Bringing new life to the earth.

She quenches the thirst of all creatures,

Giving sustenance to their bodies and souls.

Without her, we would perish.

Thank you, Water, for your life-giving gifts.
