Thank our Lord

It brings us closer to where we belong

It's a moment to share our innermost thoughts

And to thank our Lord for all we have got

When life is hard and our faith is weak

Prayer can offer us the comfort we seek

It can bring us peace and show us the way

To keep us moving through each passing day

Prayer is a way to talk to God

It's a time to give thanks and applaud

It's a time to ask for help and guidance

And with faith, know that He will provide us

No matter who you are or where you're from

Prayer can help lead you to the Kingdom

Take a moment, look up to the sky

Ask for help, because he's always next door.

Prayer can be found in moments of joy

Or during moments of trial and sorrow

But it doesn't matter how you feel or what it takes.

We may still pray and be liberated.
